This is a great way to set off the holiday. But we must be smart, and this is the time of the year when a lot of bad things happen. I will love to see everyone back after the holidays.

Players from U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa faced off against each other in a flag football game to build esprit de Corp at Caserma Edele Nov. 23, 2021. The team from Headquarters Support Company defeated Intelligence and Sustainment Company 22-18 in a close contest.

The game was a great way to kick off the holidays, said Brig. Gen. Aida T. Borras, U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa deputy commanding general.

“This is a great way to set off the holiday,” said Borras. “But we must be smart, and this is the time of the year when a lot of bad things happen. I will love to see everyone back after the holidays.”
