US, Nigerian soldiers participate in advanced infantry training

Soldiers from the U.S. Army Security Assistance Training Management Organization and the 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division participated in an advanced infantry training with the Nigerian 26th Infantry Battalion Jan. 15-19 at the Nigerian Army School of Infantry in Jaji, Nigeria. The training’s purpose is increasing lethality, survivability and sustainability capabilities for near-term operations combating Boko Haram and other threats, as well as strengthening a long-term relationship between the forces, leading to increased regional stability when combating national threats in country and abroad.
