During MEDRETE 18-1, U.S. Army and Senegalese medical personnel provide lifesaving care for a high-risk newborn at the Hospital De Militaire Ouakam, Dakar, Senegal, Feb. 8, 2018. MEDRETE 18-1 is a combined effort between members of the Senegalese military, the Vermont National Guard and U.S. Army Africa.
