Caserma Del Din celebrates 10th Anniversary

U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Todd R. Wasmund, commander of U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), right, Ms. Paola Del Din, center, and Italian army Maj. Gen. Ugo Cillo, Deputy Commander Operative Nord, cut the cake at Caserma Del Din on Jun. 30, 2023. Members of the Vicenza military community, to include U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) and the 173rd Airborne Brigade, as well as local Vicenza civilian, military and police leaders met at SETAF-AF headquarters to conduct obersvance of Caserma Del Din's 10th anniversary. SETAF-AF provides U.S. Africa Command and U.S. Army Europe & Africa a dedicated headquarters to synchronize Army activities in Africa and scalable crisis response options in Africa and Europe.
