173rd Airborne Brigade

The 173rd Airborne Brigade is the U.S. Army's Contingency Response Force in Europe, providing rapidly deployable forces to the United States European, African, and Central Command areas of responsibility. Members of the Vicenza military community, to include U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) and the 173rd Airborne Brigade, as well as local Vicenza civilian, military and police leaders met at SETAF-AF headquarters to conduct obersvance of Caserma Del Din's 10th anniversary. SETAF-AF provides U.S. Africa Command and U.S. Army Europe & Africa a dedicated headquarters to synchronize Army activities in Africa and scalable crisis response options in Africa and Europe.
