G4 staff ride focuses on Italian WWI campaign, Alpine front battles

U.S. Army Southern European Task Force-Africa G4 Soldiers and staff participated in a battle staff ride and educational forum Sept. 24-25, 2021. The event focused on the Italian campaign in the First World War and on the lessons learned from the Italian army’s battles at Monte Grappa.

Working primarily from Caserma Del Din in Vicenza, Italy, members of the U.S. Army Africa intelligence directorate waded into unfamiliar territory as the new coronavirus spread throughout Italy.
