LILONGWE, Malawi – The Malawi Defense Force (MDF) recently invited chaplains from U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), and their new state partners, the North Carolina Army National Guard, to participate in a military-to-military (M2M) exchange. This collaboration marks the first interaction with MDF chaplains since 2019, highlighting a renewed commitment to partnership and religious support.

ACCRA, Ghana — A team composed of U.S. Army and Air Force medical professionals from the 86th Medical Squadron, Dental Health Activity - Rheinland Pfalz, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, U.S. Army Medical Command and the State Medical Detachment, North Dakota National Guard commenced a medical readiness exercise (MEDREX) with the Ghana Armed Forces, May 13. The ceremony marked the beginning of activities that will run until May 31, at the 37th Military Hospital in Accra.

Born in Nairobi, Wambui is back in her native country which is hosting exercise Justified Accord 2024, U.S. Africa Command's largest military exercise in East Africa, running from Feb. 26 - March 7. Led by U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), this year's exercise incorporates more than 1,000 service members and units from 23 nations.
