More than 20 official unit mail handlers worked diligently to process hundreds of packages the evening of December 19 and 20 for the service members stationed at CL Garoua.
The CL Garoua medic team was able to vaccinate 120 soldiers in about three hours inoculating a significant number of the service members in need of the flu shot.

With about 200 Soldiers, Airmen and contractors, the unit in Garoua, Cameroon, supports Cameroon's military in its fight against Boko Haram. The violent extremist group is responsible for killing, kidnapping and displacing thousands of people and still operates roughly 60 miles from the base.
