Colonel Edward A. Brady
Senior Liaison Officer to British Army Headquarters
Col. Edward Brady, a career infantry officer, has served in leadership and staff positions at every tactical echelon from Rifle Platoon through Division with the US Army's 10th Mountain Division, 101st Airborne Division, and 1st Armored Division. In addition to participating in various training deployments worldwide, he has been deployed for combat once in Iraq and three times in Afghanistan.
He also has served as an Exchange Officer with the Australian Army's Forces Command G7 (Training and Exercises) Branch in Sydney, Australia. As a battalion commander, he led 2nd Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment on a nine-month combat deployment to the highly contested Shindand District in Herat, Afghanistan.
Following battalion command, Col. Brady served as the Assistant Chief of Operations and Training (J3) for the United States Security Coordinator for Israel and Palestine (USSC). Most recently he served in US Army Pacific as the Deputy Director for Strategic Effects (FXD) and as the Chief of Theater Army Exercises (G37), culminating in the Theater Army’s pioneering certification as a four-star level Joint Task Force (JTF) in the Pacific Sentry series of exercises. Colonel Brady graduated from the US Army’s Airborne, Air Assault, and Ranger Schools.
He has earned a bachelor’s degree (BSc) from West Point and master’s degrees from the US Air Force School of Advanced Airpower and Space Studies, and Reichman University in Israel.
